Graffiti Stencils – Spray stencils range from simple hearts or circles to intricate urban scenes or realistic portraits. You can use a stencil and spray paint to decorate an old piece of furniture or make a frieze in a room. In general, artists prefer to create complex stencils to represent their thoughts or ideas. Attach the stencil to the surface you want to paint.
The graffiti stencils must absolutely be glued to the surface when you start spraying the paint. If a part is peeled, the paint can slip underneath and spoil the drawing. You can use various methods. Apply the spray paint. Do not apply a layer so thick that it sinks or puddles. Such a quantity of paint could infiltrate under the stencil. Apply the paint quickly and do not aim the tip of the aerosol to the same point for too long. Remove the stencil and examine your work.
Paint will often slip under the edges of the graffiti stencils (despite all your efforts), so examine your work to see the look of the image. Perhaps you will want to touch up the parts that are not well filled. Use the cutter on a suitable surface such as a cutting board. If you start from a photo or image that you have found, you can change the image to fit your stencil.
