Home depot bathroom vanities cabinet design has developed a lot in the past 20 years to complement all possible decor or style, ranging from simple single wash units to creating cabinet and free standing furniture. The one feature is common to almost all vanity cabinets is the installation procedure that ensures vanity in place and prepares it for plumbing fixtures to follow
Remove any dirt or dirt from the floor where vanity is being installed using a broom or vacuum cleaner. Determine the desired position vanity the cabinet and mark both sides of its width dimension on the wall, then define the cabinet’s horizontal centerline and mark the point on the wall as well. Use a plan to extend a vertical line in the cabinet center, from floor to just above the cabinet height. Measure horizontal centerlines for both water control valves and the sink drain line from the center line.
Measured vertically from the floor surface to the center lines of the sink drain and both water valves, and then transfer these points to the back of the vanity closet. Draw a 2 1/2 inch diameter circle around each of the central points on the back of the vanity cabinet and then use a stick saw to cut out each of the circles. Determine the location of the wall knobs across the wall behind the vanity cabinet, then place a mark on the wall at each stud’s center, just above the vanity cabinet height.
