Car Decal Stickers – I have a thing for the stickers of the “Build your Family” series, stickers to stick on the rear window and which humorously display the members of your family. There are classic versions or zombies and even animals have their place! Like any good sticker, to stick one on your car, you must first prepare the surface to stick. We will clean and degrease the body (or windshield) with the window product.
Then place the sticker in the desired location, without removing the protective paper under the sticker. Then, thanks to a special tape called “masking”, we temporarily tape the complete car decal stickers wherever you want. We glue the corners and place a large strip of tape in the middle of the sticker so that it is held in place during the operation. Lift the first half of the adhesive and remove half of its protective film (cut the grace with a cutter) then apply the sticker on the car taking care to scrape air bubbles with a squeegee.
Repeat on the other half, this time removing the masking tape. Once the car decal stickers is fully glued, scrape again to be sure that there is no air bubble left. For small stickers, the process is much simpler. We can remove the protective film immediately, but we can also apply the technique above to be sure it is well glued and in the right place.
