Costco Matress – The viscoelastic foam mattresses are made of a high-tech material that requires special care. This includes the time of cleaning, to avoid damaging the mattress and keep it in the best possible condition for longer. Cleaning the mattress is as important as cleaning the rest of the house. In the mattress, we spend a good part of our time, so it is not unusual for us to leave in it hair, scales of dead skin and even a little sweat.
You can perform a routine cleaning ideally every six months, or maximum once a year. Or, if the costco matress has a stain or spilled something, it is important to clean it immediately. In this step, you try to remove any solid residue: dust spots, hair, dead skin, etc. It can be done with a brush with very soft bristles and delicate movements, but the ideal thing is to use a vacuum cleaner. Do not use commercial chemicals in your viscoelastic foam mattress, this includes chlorine and ammonia, they could damage it irreversibly.
It is better to use a very mild detergent, such as a liquid dishwasher diluted in water. This mixture must be stirred until bubbles are generated. If you do not have a mild detergent at home, you can use a mixture of water with white vinegar. You can apply it on the costco matress with an atomizer, taking care not to wet it too much.
